at FPC!
The Fine Arts School of Music is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church in Crossville, TN. We are a Christ-honoring community shaped by the truth of God’s Word, loving one another and welcoming all those in need of God’s grace. Our desire is that, by the grace of God, our worship of God will fuel our work for God.
MISSION
As a ministry of First Presbyterian Church, the Fine Arts School of Music exists to further the overall vision of the music ministry of the church. Its mission will be for training students to grow in knowledge of musical theory, appreciation, and skill with excellence for a future purpose of serving others.
VISION
First Presbyterian Church is committed to providing a Christ-centered learning environment with the hope that all who come in contact with the Fine Arts School of Music will know their great need of a Savior and find that need met in Jesus becoming a worshipper of the true and living God. Under the Lordship of Christ, the session of elders, and Christian teachers, we hope this ministry will help children and adults grow in their love for music and connect that love to worship of God and eventual service in visible churches.

Lessons are held in the main church building with ample parking located behind the building.
WHEN ARE LESSONS HELD?
FPC Fine Arts School of Music will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. The school will close for holidays throughout the year. These closure dates, along with other key dates, can be found in the Student/Parent Handbook.
WHO IS THE SCHOOL OF MUSIC FOR?
The Fine Arts School of Music is a place for folks ages 5+. We are happy to teach the youngest ones in shorter lessons but also happy for adults to take lessons as well!
WHAT INSTRUMENTS WILL BE OFFERED FOR LESSONS?
Currently, we offer piano, violin, guitar, and ukulele. We will be continually adding teachers and other instruments including group theory classes and general music classes. Reach out to us for the current classes and schedules.
