Missionaries of the Month: Gary & Lois Watanabe, MTW Japan
Because of the rapid growth of church planting and partnerships needs in Asia, the Watanabes moved to Tokyo in 2015 then to Nagoya in 2016. Their goal is to help recruit and train the next generation of Japanese church planters.
Prayer Needs:
- for the solid establishment of the Joy of Japan Center for Church Planting
- for effective training, coaching, and resourcing of church planters and leaders
- for God to raise an increasing number of potential church leaders
- for Gary’s and Lois’s continual personal renewal and growth in the Gospel such that their faith would remain vital and their work fruitful for God’s kingdom sake in Asia.
